I heard that you said BIAS AMP 2 is compatible to BIAS FX, just like BIAS AMP 1. I want to export the amps to BIAS FX, is it possible and how, if yes?
Since build 1.6, BIAS FX is already compatible with BIAS AMP 2. The way it integrates with BIAS AMP 2 is exactly the same as BIAS AMP 1, please refer to https://help.positivegrid.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003311526-BIAS-FX-Integration
I'm a Elite user, I can't seem to access to Celestion's Modern Vintage Cabs.
Elite users have Classic Cabs available immediately right after the activation, yet Modern Vintage Cabs is an expansion pack for separate purchase. For more information, please refer to https://www.positivegrid.com/bias-amp-compare/
I'm a beta tester but I can't seem to install the official release on my computer.
If you participated in the beta test, or if you have an earlier version installed on your computer, please make sure to follow these steps before installing the Early Access version.
- Uninstall your previous version:
If you’re on Windows 7, refer to this article https://support.microsoft.com/ml-in/help/2601726
if you’re on Windows 8, 8.1 or 10, follow these steps: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/4028054/windows-repair-or-remove-programs-in-windows-10
if you’re on a Mac, simply locate the program on your Drive, drag it to Trash Can and done.
- Next, delete these files and folders
/Users/[User_name]/Library/Application Support/PositiveGrid/BIAS_Amp2.settings (file)
- Now that the previous version and related files have been removed, you can proceed with the actual installation.
I use my BIAS AMP 2 as plug-in in DAW, but its not rendering properly.
It's an known issue on some Windows7 PCs, please try the workaround as described below:
- In Control Panel, click Appearance and Personalization.
- Change default scaling option to Small (100%)
- You need to log off the user and then log on the user again for the changes to take effect.
When I select no driver in audio setting, it just crashes. Why?
A known issue we're fixing right now too. However, you must select a driver to work with BIAS AMP 2 in standalone mode and we strongly recommend using an audio interface that comes with ASIO driver for PC.
