We've compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions regarding Klarna and its 4 interest-free payment service.
Q: How do I pay for an order with Klarna?
A: To place an order with Klarna follow these simple steps:
Add your items to your cart and go to Checkout as normal. (Your billing and delivery address can be different, however they both need to be in the US.)
Select Klarna as your payment option.
Complete your order by selecting “Pay in 4 interest free installments” with Klarna.
Use your own valid debit or credit card, or other accepted payment method, to pay (no prepaid cards).
The maximum purchase limit is different on each account, and is determined by a credit assessment by Klarna. If your order fails, you may wish to try again with a smaller amount.
Please note that Klarna is an independent payment company and Positive Grid has no influence over whether your payment with Klarna is accepted or not. If you have any trouble with your order, please contact Klarna Customer Service.
Q: What do I need to provide when paying with Klarna?
A: To pay using Klarna, you'll need to provide your mobile number as they may need to contact you. We'll also need your email address so that Klarna can send your payment invoice. It's important that you provide the correct details, as you won't receive the relevant payment information.
Once you've placed your order using Klarna, you'll receive an email from them within 2 days with payment instructions.
Please note that your order must exceed $35 (USD) value in order to be paid with Klarna.
Q: Having trouble paying with Klarna?
A: If you have any trouble placing an order with Klarna, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
Klarna may have rejected your application to pay on account. We'd recommend choosing another type of payment or placing an order for a smaller amount.
You may have outstanding payments on previous Klarna invoices.
You may have missed a required field at the checkout, such as filling in your Date of Birth.

Q: How long do I have to complete the payment?
A: You have to pay the first 25% at the time of checkout, while the remaining 3 payments are automatically collected every 2 weeks.
Q: I've paid with Klarna, how do returns work?
A: If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may contact support team to return it within 30 days for a full refund (less shipping costs). Please also note you'll be responsible for shipping the product back to our warehouse for physical products.
Refunds can take up to 10 working days to show in your account.

Q: When will I get my refund?
A: If you are due a refund from Klarna on a returned or cancelled order, Klarna will refund the balance back to your original payment method.
If you haven't paid your invoice, (haven’t finished paying 4 installments) you'll receive an updated version (Invoice) from Klarna within 24 hours of your returns being processed.
Q: I haven’t received my Klarna invoice – what should I do?
1. Check your emails
If you haven't received your email, it's worth checking your Junk email folder in case it's been filtered there.
Note: Your invoice email is sent from Klarna rather than Positive Grid.
2. Contact Klarna
Positive Grid isn't able to send Klarna invoices. If you've checked and still not received your invoice, please get in touch with Klarna Customer service here.
