Sometimes we can all lose our way, especially with so many tone options. If you want to start fresh, a factory reset is sometimes the best way to go.
Hardware Factory Reset
For BIAS Head:
- First, make sure the power is Off.
- Hold both the Utility Switches on the Back panel 'Up' and turn the power On—hold them until they alternate in flashing.
- Once they are flashing, hold the Wireless button until it stays lit up in Blue. This will initiate the Factory Reset.
- If at any point you decide not to Factory Reset after holding both utility switches, simply tap the Wireless Button to exit.
For BIAS Rack:
- First, make sure the power is Off.
- Hold both the Utility Switches on the Front panel 'Down' and turn the power On—hold them until they start flashing in an alternating fashion.
- Once they are flashing, hold the Wireless button until it stays lit up in Blue. This will initiate the Factory Reset.
Factory Reset via Desktop
You can also perform a factory reset using BIAS Amp 2 Professional desktop software:
- Connect your BIAS Head/Rack via USB to your desktop computer.
- Launch BIAS Amp 2 Professional and select Factory Reset from the settings menu.
- On the next screen, you will see a message explaining what the Factory Reset will do and asking if you want to proceed.
- If yes, then select Reset and your Factory Reset will begin.
Factory Reset via Mobile (iPad/iPhone)
You can also perform a factory reset using BIAS Amp 2 iOS app:
- First, connect via Bluetooth to your BIAS Head/Rack.
- Launch the BIAS Amp 2 app and access Settings.
- Select Reset Factory Default.
- A confirmation box will appear—letting you cancel should you decide not to go ahead. If you want to proceed, select Reset and the Factory Reset will begin.
