Bluetooth Connection (Bluetooth Audio)

← Back to Spark 2 User Guide

Spark 2 has two independent Bluetooth connections
  • Bluetooth Audio (this page) - streams music from your phone through Spark 2. Paired from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Tone Control - pairs Spark 2 with the Spark app for tone editing and ToneCloud. Paired from inside the Spark app. See Pair Spark 2 with the Spark App (Tone Control).

Connect to the Mobile Device (Bluetooth Audio)

  1. Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device:
    iOS: Settings → Bluetooth
Android: Settings → Connections → Bluetooth
  2. Tap the PAIR button on the rear control panel while the Spark 2 is powered on.

Only the Bluetooth LED should breathe.

If both the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi LEDs breathe together, you held the pair button too long and Spark 2 is now in pairing mode with Spark Control X. In this case, Spark 2 Audio will not appear in the Bluetooth list.

Important things to know about Bluetooth audio:

  • Output routing: Bluetooth audio is streamed through Spark 2's internal speakers, the L/MONO & R line outputs, and the headphone output.
