Which Bluetooth connection do you need?
Spark EDGE has two independent Bluetooth connections. Choose the one you need:
Stream music through Spark EDGE
Use Spark EDGE as a Bluetooth speaker to stream music from any app on your phone or tablet. Paired from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
Edit tones with the Spark app
Pair Spark EDGE with the Spark app to browse presets, edit tones, tune, and access ToneCloud. Paired from inside the Spark app.
Go to Tone Control guide →Connect to the Mobile Device (Bluetooth Audio)
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device:
iOS: Settings → Bluetooth
Android: Settings → Connections → Bluetooth -
Tap the BLUETOOTH PAIR button on the rear panel while Spark EDGE is powered on.
- In the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device, look for Spark EDGE Audio in the list of available devices.
- Tap on Spark EDGE Audio to pair and connect.
Good to Know
Volume control
Use the MUSIC knob on the front panel to adjust Bluetooth playback volume on Spark EDGE. Volume can also be controlled from the source device (phone/tablet).
Output routing
Bluetooth audio streams through Spark EDGE's internal speakers, the L/MONO & R line outputs, and the headphone output.
Both connections at once
You can use Spark EDGE as a Bluetooth speaker while playing guitar - Spark EDGE mixes the Bluetooth audio and your guitar signal together, so you can jam over music from any app while editing tones with the Spark app.
Troubleshooting
Spark EDGE Audio doesn't appear in my Bluetooth list
- Make sure Spark EDGE is powered on and you pressed the BLUETOOTH PAIR button - the Bluetooth LED should be breathing.
- Try a factory reset on Spark EDGE and re-pair.
Paired successfully but no music plays

- Check that your source device (phone/tablet) is not muted and volume is up.
Bluetooth keeps disconnecting
