Free BIAS AMP 2 Software for BIAS MINI / Head / Rack Owners

All BIAS AMP Series hardware (BIAS MINI Guitar/Bass and BIAS Head/Rack) come with free BIAS AMP 2 software — both Desktop (Pro) and Mobile (iPad/iPhone). To get your license, register your device to your Positive Grid/ToneCloud account by following the steps below.


Desktop (BIAS AMP 2 Professional)

1. Make sure you have a Positive Grid/ToneCloud account. Sign up here: https://account.positivegrid.com/store_signup

2. Log in to the license & download page, download and install the latest version of BIAS AMP 2.

3. Connect your BIAS AMP Series hardware to your computer via USB cable.

4. Log in to your ToneCloud account in the BIAS AMP 2 Desktop software.

5. The registration notification will pop up. Click REGISTER to proceed.

6. Confirm your Positive Grid/ToneCloud account matches the "Current Owner Account".

7. Registration complete! Your BIAS AMP 2 Desktop license is now linked to your ToneCloud account. Go to Setting Menu → App Information to verify your license tier.

Important notes about license transfers:

  • The BIAS AMP 2 Desktop license is locked to your hardware unit upon registration.
  • Selling your unit? Contact us first to deactivate your license so the new owner can register.
  • Buying used? Ask the previous owner to request license deactivation before purchase.

Mobile — iPad / iPhone (BIAS AMP 2 Mobile)

1. Download BIAS AMP 2 Mobile from the App Store (free download).

2. Open the app. Tap the gear icon (top right) → "Connect Hardware" to connect your BIAS amplifier via Bluetooth. The firmware will update automatically on first connection.

3. Log in to your ToneCloud account (or tap "Sign Up" to create one).

4. When prompted, press REGISTER to register your hardware.

5. Once registered, a full BIAS AMP 2 Mobile license is linked to your account — accessible anytime, even without your hardware connected.

If you selected "Run Temporary" instead of registering, you can still register later by tapping the "Register" button in the top right corner of the app.
