BIAS AMP Series hardware (BIAS MINI Guitar/Bass and BIAS Head/Rack) is compatible with BIAS Amp 2 Desktop, iPhone, and iPad only. It is not possible to load or save presets directly from BIAS FX software to the hardware.
However, you can use the FX Loop to send signals from BIAS FX to your BIAS MINI / Head / Rack. Follow the steps below.
Using BIAS FX with BIAS MINI via FX Loop
1. Connect your computer (or iPhone/iPad) with an audio interface for sending signals out from BIAS FX software to your BIAS MINI Amp.
2. BIAS FX software already comes with preamp/power amp simulations. We suggest turning off these simulations for better performance — it's up to your taste to decide which sections to bypass.
3. Connect the Send of BIAS MINI Amp to the input jack of the audio interface.
4. Connect the output jack of the audio interface to the Return of the BIAS MINI Amp.
Connecting BIAS MINI to BIAS AMP 2 (Desktop / iPad / iPhone)
To manage presets and customize your amp tones, connect your BIAS MINI to the BIAS AMP 2 app:
- Desktop: Connect via USB cable, launch BIAS AMP 2 Desktop, and sign in to your ToneCloud account.
- iPad/iPhone: Connect via Bluetooth — tap the gear icon in BIAS AMP 2 Mobile, then "Connect Hardware".
