How to Use Amp-Match with BIAS Amp

Amp-Match is a powerful feature that allows you to capture and recreate the tone of any amplifier. Available in BIAS Amp software (bundled free with BIAS Head/Rack), Amp-Match uses advanced profiling to analyze and match the characteristics of your favorite amps.

The Amp-Match feature is available in BIAS Amp Desktop software. You can save your matched presets to your BIAS Head/Rack device and use them for live performances.

BIAS Amp 2

BIAS Amp 2 offers two Amp-Match scenarios for capturing amp tones. Follow the walkthrough animations below to learn how to use each method.

  • Try both scenarios to find the tone that works best for your needs
  • Set input/output levels to the suggested levels for optimal sound quality
  • Save to hardware - Once you've matched an amp tone, save the preset to your BIAS Head/Rack device to use it in live performances
