Error - Preset Load Failed – Help Center

If you see the error message "File corruption detected in Documents folder" in BIAS FX 2, please try the steps below:

Mac

1. Disable iCloud for Documents & Desktop sync, please refer to the link here. If iCloud is disabled all the time on your Mac, please skip #2 and go to #3 directly.

2. After disabling iCloud, make sure there is a local (default) Documents folder generated on your Mac. If you can not find Documents in Finder, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Disable iCloud on the Mac
Step 2: Make sure you have a backup for the Documents in the iCloud folder
Step 3: Open Terminal, and enter the command “sudo rm -r Documents/”

3. Rename the BIAS_FX2 folder in Documents/PositiveGrid to "BIAS_FX2 backup" and relaunch BIAS FX 2 again.

Windows

1. Disable OneDrive or other cloud sync services for Documents.

2. Make sure the Documents folder is not a protected folder on your Windows 10 computers.

3. Rename the BIAS_FX2 folder in Documents/PositiveGrid to "BIAS_FX2 backup" and relaunch BIAS FX 2 again.
