Reset/Reinstall BIAS X – Help Center

Reset BIAS X

If you'd like to reset all the settings in BIAS X, please follow the instructions below.

WARNING

This will restore BIAS X to its default state, including all customized or modified presets and settings. This action cannot be undone.

We strongly recommend creating a backup first. For more information, please refer to our Back Up and Restore Presets guide.

Launch BIAS X and open Settings from the bottom-left corner.
If you cannot launch BIAS X, please refer to our Launch Failed troubleshooting guide.
Navigate to the Support tab.
Click the Reset button.

Reinstall BIAS X

To reinstall BIAS X, you will need to uninstall it first. Follow the platform-specific instructions below.

Uninstalling BIAS X will not delete your customized presets.

Uninstall BIAS X
- macOS:
  1. Download the BIAS X installer from the My Products / Desktop Software page.
  2. Launch the installer and double-click Uninstall BIAS X.
- Windows:
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Apps > Installed apps.
  3. Find BIAS X, click the three-dot menu, and select Uninstall.
After uninstalling, reinstall BIAS X using the installer downloaded from the My Products > Desktop Software page.
