No Sound from Other Apps When BIAS X Is Running on Windows – Help Center

Symptom: No sound is heard from other applications while BIAS X is running on Windows.

This issue is usually caused by exclusive mode settings in Windows audio preferences that allow BIAS X to take full control of your audio output device.

How to Allow Sound from Other Apps While Using BIAS X

Right-click the speaker icon in the lower-right corner of your desktop.
Click Sound settings.
Scroll down and click More sound settings under the Advanced section.
In the Sound window, select your current output device and click Properties.
Go to the Advanced tab.
Uncheck the box for "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device".

Restart BIAS X and other audio applications after applying the changes to ensure proper audio sharing.
