Spark NEO is a headphone-based system without a built-in speaker output. Because the audio is played directly through the headphones, your device’s microphone cannot capture the amp’s sound.
Both Smart Jam and Video Recording rely on the phone or tablet’s microphone to pick up the amp’s audio in order to generate backing tracks or record video. Since Spark NEO only outputs sound to headphones, these features cannot function properly.
However, you can still enjoy the Quick Jam feature on Spark NEO. Quick Jam provides authentic drum and bass tracks for you to play along with and does not require microphone input, making it an excellent alternative for jamming and practice sessions.
