REACTOR Amp & Effect Guide
This guide introduces all available amp models and effects in REACTOR. Use this article to quickly find and understand each tone category and effect type.
Signal Chain
All effect blocks can be freely rearranged in the signal chain via the Reactor App. The default signal chain order is:
Guitar In → Gate → Comp → Drive → Wah → EQ → [Amp] → Mod → Delay → Reverb → FX Loop → Output
The FX Loop can be inserted at any position in the chain, adjustable via the Reactor App.
Amp Models Overview
CLEAN - Crystal clear, dynamic, responsive
| Twin Clean | Iconic American clean tone. Full, warm lows with sparkling highs. Perfect for jazz, country, and any style that demands pristine clarity. Legendary spring reverb character. |
| Classic Deluxe | Smaller American combo voice - warm, sweet, and touch-sensitive. Breaks up beautifully when you dig in. A studio favorite for recording clean and edge-of-breakup tones. |
| Solid Clean | Ultra-clean solid-state tone with built-in stereo chorus shimmer. Crystal clear at any volume. The go-to for clean funk, pop, and new wave. |
| Bass Master | Vintage tweed American tone with thick, punchy low end. Originally designed for bass, but guitarists discovered its raw, growling breakup is pure rock 'n' roll magic. |
WARM - Smooth, organic, touch-sensitive
| Warm ODS | Legendary boutique overdrive tone - impossibly smooth, dynamic, and warm. Responds to every nuance of your pick attack. The holy grail of blues and fusion players. |
| Vintage 45' | Early British voiced amp - warm, woody, and full of character. The bridge between American clean and British crunch. Think early blues-rock and classic recordings. |
| Chime 30 | Chimey, bell-like British tone with rich harmonic overtones. Jangly cleans that bloom into a sweet, singing drive. Indie, Britpop, and classic rock essential. |
| Twin Stone 50 | Modern American boutique - crystalline cleans that transition into a rich, complex overdrive. Exceptionally responsive to playing dynamics. For players who demand the best. |
GRIT - Edge of breakup, bluesy, dynamic
| M1 Clean | Versatile American boutique with rich, full-bodied cleans that can push into warm overdrive. Equally at home with jazz chords and soulful blues leads. |
| Tweed Tone | Raw, vintage American grit - the sound of early rock 'n' roll. Warm compression and natural breakup that responds to your volume knob. Sounds alive. |

CRUNCH - Classic rock, punchy, aggressive

HI-GAIN - Heavy, powerful, saturated

EXTREME - Maximum gain, brutal, relentless

| Insanity 3R | Legendary red-channel fury - raw, aggressive, and relentless. The signature sound of shred and modern hard rock. Harmonics jump off the fretboard. |
| SS-100 Lead | California hot-rod high-gain - smooth, creamy saturation with a searing top end. The original boutique high-gain tone. Equally musical at any gain level. |

Drive / Distortion

| Gold Drive | Transparent overdrive that makes your amp sound like a better version of itself. Adds shimmer and clarity without coloring your tone. |
| Clean Boost | Pure, clean volume boost. Pushes your amp harder without changing your core tone. Great as an "always on" foundation. |

Fuzz

Tip for finding your tone
By Genre:
• Blues / Jazz → Clean or Warm amps + Gold Drive or Green Drive
• Classic Rock → Grit or Crunch amps + Classic Fuzz or Muff Fuzz
• Modern Rock → Crunch or Hi-Gain amps + Green Drive boost
• Metal → Hi-Gain or Extreme amps + Noise Gate + Studio Comp
• Ambient / Post-Rock → Clean amps + Tape Echo + Studio Reverb (Hall)
• Funk / Pop → Solid Clean or Twin Clean + Dyna Comp + Classic Phaser
By Playing Style:
