We highly recommend updating your amplifier's firmware to the latest version to access the newest features and enhancements for REACTOR 50/100.
Before You Begin
- Update the REACTOR App to the latest version.
- Back up your customized presets via the REACTOR App.
- Make sure REACTOR's power cord is connected throughout the update process.
Option 1 - Via Wi-Fi (OTA from App)
- Open the REACTOR App while connected to your amplifier.
- The App will notify you if a firmware update is available.
- Follow the in-app instructions to complete the update.
- After the update is complete, you will receive an on-screen notification.
Option 2 - Via USB (Desktop)
- Download the REACTOR updater from the Download Page.
- Connect the REACTOR to your computer via USB-C.
- Open the updater — it will detect your REACTOR and check for updates.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Troubleshooting
Q: The firmware update failed or was interrupted.
A: Power off the REACTOR, wait 10 seconds, then power on again. The REACTOR will automatically attempt to recover. Try the update again.
Q: After the firmware update, REACTOR cannot be connected via Bluetooth.
A: Navigate to the Bluetooth settings of your device, unpair or forget the previous connection with REACTOR, and then open the REACTOR App to reconnect.
Q: The OTA update keeps failing.
A: Try updating via USB using the desktop updater instead.
