Can I use my Spark amp on battery while plugged into wall power?

Yes. You can keep your Spark amp plugged into a wall outlet while the Spark Battery is installed — there is no need to remove the battery.

When your amp is connected to power:

  • The amp runs from wall power.
  • The Spark Battery charges at the same time, so you can play and recharge simultaneously.
  • Once you unplug the amp, it automatically switches to battery power with no interruption.
A full charge takes approximately 3 hours. The battery does not need to be removed for everyday use — it is designed to stay installed.

If you hear hum or noise only on battery

If your amp sounds clean when plugged into the wall but you hear a hum or buzz when running on battery, this is usually caused by:

  • A loose or partially inserted battery — remove and reseat the battery firmly.
  • An instrument cable or pickup picking up interference — try a different cable or location.

If the noise continues after reseating the battery and changing cables, please contact our support team.
