You can start in different ways:

• Shaping tones directly from the pedal using onboard controls

Spark PEDAL then combines amp modeling, EQ, and effects into a playable sound you can hear immediately.

From there, you can continue refining the tone without rebuilding it from scratch. You can adjust amp settings, effects, and overall feel directly from the pedal or through the Spark App.

This creates a faster workflow focused on moving from an idea to a usable sound quickly, while still allowing deeper editing when you want it.

Text to Tone - available through the Spark App - allows you to describe the type of sound you want in natural language.

For example, you might enter phrases like "warm blues lead," "ambient clean with long reverb," or "tight modern metal rhythm." Spark PEDAL interprets your description and generates a matching amp and effects setup automatically.

Instead of manually building a tone step by step, you can start from a musical idea and then refine it further if needed.

Yes. You can adjust gain, bass, mid, treble, effects, and overall tone directly from the pedal using the onboard knobs. The Spark App also provides deeper editing options for additional refinement.

Generated tones are designed to be fast starting points - not locked presets.

Spark PEDAL includes 33 amp models and 43 effects, along with access to more than 100,000 community-created tones through ToneCloud.

Spark PEDAL is designed around fast, hands-on control without requiring deep menu navigation.

In Amp Mode, the main knob selects amp types while the gain, bass, mid, and treble knobs adjust your amp tone.

In FX Mode, the knobs select and control drive, modulation, delay, and reverb effects directly from the pedal.

The three onboard footswitches also serve dual purposes depending on the selected mode:

• Preset Mode allows you to switch between saved presets in real time.
• Looper Mode gives you direct access to recording, overdubbing, playback, stop, undo, and loop clearing.

This layout allows you to shape tones, switch sounds, and control looping quickly in real time without interrupting your playing. While in Looper Mode, you can still adjust amp and effects parameters using the onboard knobs. You can also switch between your pre-selected presets in the Red and Green banks by pressing footswitches 2 and 3 together, making it easy to move between sounds such as rhythm and lead tones while a loop is playing.

If you need to perform actions that are only available outside Looper Mode - such as saving a preset or selecting a different preset directly from the pedal - the looper playback will stop when you exit Looper Mode. For more advanced preset switching while keeping the looper running, you can use the Spark App and MIDI control.

Spark PEDAL allows you to save up to 6 custom presets across 2 banks.

Spark PEDAL includes 3 steel footswitches that operate in different modes depending on how you're using the pedal.

The onboard knobs are used for tone shaping. In Amp Mode, they control amp selection and amp parameters. In FX Mode, they allow you to select, adjust, or bypass effects directly from the pedal.

The footswitches are used for performance control. In Preset Control Mode, they let you switch between saved presets during practice or live performance. In Looper Control Mode, they provide direct access to recording, overdubbing, playback, stop, undo, and loop clearing.

LED indicators provide visual feedback for presets, looper status, and active modes during use.
