Quick Jam is a set of ready-made backing tracks that use the same audio engine as Smart Jam, but with preset chord progressions and grooves — no chord recording required. Just pick a genre and start playing.
How to Start a Quick Jam
- Go to the Music page in the Spark app.
- Scroll the Smart Jam / Quick Jam banner horizontally to reveal the available genres.

Tap into any genre to start the backing track:

Switch Designed Tracks
Each genre has multiple designed tracks with different chord progressions and grooves.
Tap the left / right arrows next to the genre name at the top of the page to switch between tracks within that genre.
Edit Chords
- Pause the track using the pause button.
- Long-press a chord on the timeline. Drag the selection edges to include multiple bars if needed.
- Tap Edit Chord and pick your desired chord.
- Tap Apply to change only the selected section, or Apply to All Parts to change every section of the song.

Settings
Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the Quick Jam page to adjust:
- BPM (Tempo) - fine-tune the playback tempo.
- Bass - toggle the bass track on / off.
- Transpose - shift the track in half-step increments, up to a maximum of an octave up or down.
- Reset to default - restore the track to its initial default state.
