The Device Card in the Spark app is where you check and adjust Spark NEO Core settings - Auto Shutdown, Hi-Z Mode, Preset Volume Normalization, and more. Access it by opening the Menu and tapping the Spark NEO Core product card.
Connection Status
Top of the card shows Bluetooth connection status:
- Tone Control - Connection between the Spark app and Spark NEO Core for tone editing.
- Bluetooth Audio - Connection for music streaming.
Power Settings
Adjust the Auto Shutdown timer. Spark NEO Core automatically powers off after this period of inactivity (no audio detected) to preserve battery.
Voice Guide
Switch the audible voice guide on or off. When on, Spark NEO Core plays a voice prompt for events like low battery or maximum volume.
Hi-Z Mode
Compensates for different pickup output levels:
- On - for high-output pickups (e.g., active humbuckers).
- Off - for low-output pickups (e.g., single coils).
Preset Volume Normalization
When enabled, Spark NEO Core automatically balances the volume of calibrated presets to keep levels consistent when switching between them. Choose the reference level:
- Soft - lower average level, more dynamic headroom.
- Standard - default balance.
- Loud - higher average level.
Battery
Displays the current battery percentage of Spark NEO Core.
Device Info
- Name - Change the display name of Spark NEO Core shown in the Spark app.
- Model - Spark NEO Core.
- Firmware - Current firmware version. See Spark NEO Core Firmware Update if a newer version is available.
- Serial Number - Serial number of Spark NEO Core.
Reset & Forget
- Restore to Factory Settings - Restores all settings and presets to factory defaults. See Factory Reset for Spark NEO Core.
- Forget This Device - Removes Spark NEO Core from your connected devices list in the Spark app. You'll need to pair again to reconnect.
