Device Card Settings for Spark LIVE
The Device Card in the Spark app is where you check and adjust Spark LIVE's advanced settings - Line Out behavior, Auto Standby / Auto Shutdown timers, and more. These settings are only accessible when Spark LIVE is connected to the Spark app via Bluetooth (Tone Control).
How to Access the Device Card
- In the Spark app, tap the Menu tab (bottom-right).

Tap the product card at the top of the Menu page (shows your Spark LIVE name).
- Scroll through the Device Details page to find each setting.
Line Out Mute Behavior
Controls whether Spark LIVE's internal speakers mute automatically when a cable is plugged into the L/MONO or R line-out jacks.
- On - Speakers mute when a line-out cable is connected (typical live-sound / recording setup).
- Off - Speakers stay active even with a line-out cable connected (useful when you want stage monitoring plus a feed to a PA or interface).
Line Out Volume Linking
Choose whether the line-out volume follows Spark LIVE's Master Volume knob, or stays at a fixed level.
- On (linked) - Line-out volume tracks the Master Volume knob. Turn the knob down and both stage and line-out get quieter.
- Off (fixed) - Line-out stays at a constant level regardless of Master Volume. Useful when the FOH engineer needs a stable feed while you adjust stage volume.
Power Settings
Configure Auto Standby and Auto Shutdown timers to conserve battery life when running on the optional Spark Battery.
- Auto Standby - Spark LIVE enters a low-power state after this many minutes of no audio activity. Instrument output and audio playback are temporarily disabled during standby. Play your instrument or start audio playback to wake it up.
- Auto Shutdown - Fully powers off Spark LIVE after extended inactivity.
