Save Presets – Help Center

Once you've set up the effect signal chain, you can save the preset either in the Spark app or directly to the Spark amp.

We suggest saving the modified preset in the Spark app first, then saving it to the hardware. This allows you to recall, adjust, and compare the presets before saving them to the Spark amp.

Save the preset in the Spark app

To save a preset in the Spark app, tap the 3-dot menu button in the top right corner.
Tap "Save as New" and select the preferred category to save the preset, or tap "Overwrite" to save over the existing preset.

Save the preset to the hardware preset on the Spark amp

To save a preset to the hardware preset on the Spark amp, tap the 3-dot menu button in the top right corner.
Tap "Save to hardware preset" and select the preferred channel to save the preset.

Preset compatibility

Presets in the Spark app are designed specifically for the Spark series amps and can only be used within the Spark app / Spark amp ecosystem. They cannot be loaded into other Positive Grid apps or hardware (BIAS X, BIAS FX 2, BIAS Amp 2, BIAS Head/Rack, etc.).
