Spark (40) Firmware Update Fail

This guide will assist you in troubleshooting if your computer is unable to detect your Spark 40 when performing a firmware update.

1. 1. Run the firmware updater as the system administrator.
       
   2. If your computer doesn’t recognize your Spark, unplug and reconnect the USB cable.
      
      
   3. Avoid using a USB hub; connect the Spark directly to your computer’s USB port for a stable connection.
      
      
   4. Unplug other USB devices to avoid potential conflicts.
      
      
   5. Try to reinstall the firmware, click on the "Eject" button at the end of the procedure, and unplug the USB cable.
      
      
   6. If it's possible, try running the updater on another computer.
