A: No, you do not need to have a DAW to use BIAS Pedal. Once you buy BIAS Pedal, you get a standalone version as well as a plugin version.

Q: Is there any expansion packs available for BIAS Pedal?
A: No, not at the moment.
Q: Does BIAS Pedal come in two license tiers (Standard and Professional) like BIAS Amp and BIAS FX?
A: No, it only comes in a single tier (Professional). BIAS Pedal is made up of 3 effects packs (Distortion, Delay, Modulation), and depending on which one you own, you get full access to the features in the effects pack once you purchase the pack.
Q: Can I install and use BIAS Pedal on multiple computers?
A: Yes, you can have two, fully working BIAS Pedal on two computers simultaneously. Once you have reached the activation limit and would like to free up a license seat, just run the software uninstaller to uninstall BIAS Pedal on one of your computers and you'll now have the option to use that license seat on another computer. Make sure that you have an internet connection when you uninstall so our server can detect the change.

For Mac OS X, the plugins will be installed to the following locations:

- AAX - /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins
Please make sure these locations have been added to the list of locations in your DAW application.
Windows
For Windows, you can choose the install location for the plugin. We strongly recommend that you use the default install locations, and add the correct locations in your DAW application. The default install locations are:
- VST 2.0 (32-bit) - C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins
- VST 2.0 (64-bit) - C:\Program Files\VstPlugins
- AAX - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
In addition, some DAW applications will have their own default install location. Alternatively, you can also copy the BIAS VST DLL file and paste it to your default plug-in folder.
