1) Input and Output Volume
You can control the overall input and output volumes using their respective knobs on the control bar. Adjust the input volume knob to optimize the input level for your particular guitar pickup. To get the best signal-to-noise ratio, turn the input knob so when you play your guitar loud, the LEDs in the input level meter hit 0 dB.
2) Tuner
To access the tuner, tap on the tuner pedal icon next to the input volume indicator. Turn the volume up on your guitar for best results. Pick a string and its note will register on the tuner. The tuner is set to standard tuning for guitar. Turn your tuning keys until the desired note is lined up with the needle in the window. A green glow will appear when you are in tune.
3) Metronome
To access the metronome, tap the metronome icon next to the tuner. The metronome can be set by using the slide wheel by turning it left or right to raise or lower BPM.
Tap BPM
To set BPM by tap, first turn the metronome on (tap the power button in the top right corner) and continuously tap the “TAP” button in a rhythmic fashion to match the beat of your song.
Beat
There are a few beats you can choose the metronome to keep time in (2/4, 3/4, and 4/4). To switch beats, simply the beat button.
4) Output Setting
Global Settings optimizes BIAS FX’s output to sound the best in any environment—including sending to a mixer, amp head or combo or stack power amp—by letting you EQ and selectively deactivate the app’s preamp, tone stack, power amp and cab separately for each destination
To find the Global Settings, tap on Output Settings on the bottom panel. This will allow you to change the Global Control and EQ Compensation settings.
Switching Preset
Tap on Amp Front, Combo Poweramp, Stack Poweramp, and Direct Out. You can save individual setting to each preset and it will auto save after your adjustment.
EQ Compensation
We offer an EQ compensation which allows you to tweak EQ in the final stage, you can also turn of the EQ by tap on “On” button.
Global Control
You can turn on/off the amp module as a global setting. For example, if you connect BIAS FX to a poweramp, you can disable poweramp and cabinet simulation.
