Spark 2 Firmware Update (OTA) – Help Center

We highly recommend updating your amplifier's firmware to the latest version to access the newest features and enhancements for Spark 2.

Before you begin

Update the Spark app to the latest version.
Back up your customized presets. For guidance, refer to: Backup & Restore Tone Presets .
Make sure Spark 2's power cord is connected throughout the update process.

You might notice some graphic errors in the app during the Spark 2 firmware updates.

We're already on it and will have it fixed soon!

Launch the Spark app and connect to Spark 2.
If a firmware update is available, the Spark app will prompt you to update.
You will be prompted to connect to Wi-Fi to proceed.

Spark 2 may temporarily disconnect from the app during this process. Please follow the on-screen instructions.
Once connected to Wi-Fi, the firmware update should start automatically. Ensure that the app remains open and active, and that Spark 2 stays powered on.
After the update is complete, you will receive an on-screen notification, and the amp will automatically turn off.
You can check the firmware version of the Spark 2 by clicking on the product card when it's connected to the Spark app.
