Deleting Your Account

If you're considering deleting your Positive Grid account, here are answers to frequently asked questions.

How do I delete my account?

  1. Visit My Account / Edit Profile
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"

What if I change my mind after deletion?

It cannot be undone once completed. If you're unsure, consider adjusting your email preferences instead.

What about privacy concerns?

Positive Grid takes your privacy seriously. Review our privacy policy or explore your options in the User Center before deleting.

Will I still receive email promotions?

No. Deleting your account unsubscribes you from all emails. To stop emails without deleting, adjust your email preferences in settings.

What happens to my order record?

Your order record will be deleted. This may affect warranty services, as we will no longer have access to your order history.

What happens to my registered hardware?

Your hardware serial numbers will still appear as active in our records, but we won't identify the owner. Others attempting to register the same serial number will see it's already in use. To re-register, create a new account and contact support.

What happens to my purchased software?

Software and licenses (BIAS FX 2, expansion packs, etc.) require an active account. Once deleted, you lose access. Contact support to regain access.

What happens to loyalty points, promo codes, or discounts?

All permanently deleted. These cannot be transferred, restored, or recovered. Redeem them before deleting.

Will I still have upgrade or crossgrade pricing?

No. Deleting your account removes your hardware registry and software licenses, making you ineligible for future upgrade pricing.

Can I transfer my licenses to another account?

Licenses are tied to the original account. Contact support if you need a transfer — these are granted only under specific circumstances.

What happens to my custom presets?

Presets stored locally on your device are unaffected. However, deleting your account revokes software licenses needed to use them.

Will I lose Spark App features?

You don't need to log in to connect your Spark amp. However, expansion packs, saved presets, and playlists tied to your account will be lost.

What about warranty or support claims?

You will lose visibility into warranty and support records. Resolve any ongoing claims before deleting.

Does deletion affect in-app purchase emails?

No. To update your in-app purchase email, do so through the App Store.

Can I re-use my email for a new account?

No. Once deleted, the email cannot be used for a new Positive Grid account.
