Indicators (Power / Connection / Footswitch)

Overview

REACTOR Control features multiple indicator LEDs that display battery status, connection status, and footswitch modes. Understanding these indicators helps you quickly diagnose issues and know the current state of your device.

Battery Indicator

The battery indicator shows the current charge level of your REACTOR Control:

  • Solid Green: Fully charged (1% - 100%)
  • Solid Yellow: Low battery (about 21–60 minutes remaining)
  • Solid Red: Needs charging (less than ~20 minutes remaining)
  • Flashing Green/Yellow/Red: Currently charging
When the battery indicator is red, charge REACTOR Control immediately using the included USB-C cable connected to the USB-C Charging Port on the rear panel.

Connection Indicators (AMP / APP)

Connection indicators show whether REACTOR Control is connected to your REACTOR amp or app:

  • Solid Blue: Wireless connection established
  • Flashing Blue: Pairing mode (waiting for wireless connection)
  • Solid Green: Wired connection established
A wired connection (green) takes priority over wireless. If you plug in a 1/4" TRS cable, the wireless connection will automatically disable.

Footswitch Indicators

The footswitch indicators (located above each footswitch 1-4) show the current preset or effect status depending on your selected mode:

  • Preset Mode: Indicators show which preset is currently active
  • Stomp Mode: Indicators show which effects are enabled or disabled
  • Bank Mode: Indicators help navigate between different preset banks
Hold the BANK switch on the front panel to change between Preset, Stomp, and Bank modes.

Troubleshooting Indicator Issues

Indicator not lighting up

If an indicator is not lighting up:

  • Check that REACTOR Control is powered on
  • Ensure the battery is charged (look for the Battery Indicator)
  • Try powering off and on again
  • Contact support if the issue persists

Connection indicator not showing

If the Connection Indicator (AMP/APP) is not showing solid green or blue:

  • For wired: Ensure the 1/4" TRS cable is fully inserted into both the REACTOR Control jack and your REACTOR amp
  • For wireless: Make sure both REACTOR Control and REACTOR amp are powered on and within range
  • Try the pairing process again if wireless is not connecting

Unexpected battery indicator color

If the battery indicator shows red but your device seems recently charged:

  • Charge REACTOR Control for at least 30 minutes
  • If the indicator remains red after charging, there may be a battery issue — contact support
