To use these IRs with BIAS AMP 2, locate "CAB" on the signal path, select IR LOADER and click LOAD to feed the IR to it. The knobs on the right (LPF, HPF, DELAY, LENGTH, MIX) are also avaialble for find-tuning the IRs.
Positive Grid's Celestion Classic/Modern Vintage packs do not offer IR files for other uses, yet each one of the 15 custom Celestion speaker cabs has multiple IR’s inside - it is not a single impulse response. Instead of having to load another impulse response file to listen to a new mic position, our custom cabs interpolate between the different impulse responses when you move the mics around. That’s huge - it really does make using Celestion IR’s better and easier on BA2 than on any other platform.
Moreover, what we offer for $100 is available from Celestion for $150, which is actually a good deal for the customer. It takes us time to create the custom cabinets, so they are not without an engineering cost for us too - we are not just simply offering the same thing as what you can get from Celestiondirectly, there is considerable additional value from our workflow, and the fact that you can put two mics on the same cab is even more reason to consider the additional value our custom cabs bring.
