How to Reset PRAM or NVRAM
If you encounter any of these problems after a firmware update, follow the steps below to get an alternative updater:

- Update Failure: The update didn't finish successfully.
- Device Problem: The Spark is unresponsive or 'bricked.'
- LED Issue: The LED lights on the Spark are blinking.
Obtaining the Alternative Firmware Updater
- Locate the chatbot in the bottom right corner of this page.
- Enter the serial number of your Spark MINI into the chatbot.
If the chatbot didn't prompt you to enter the serial number, please type in 'Spark MINI Alternative'.
- The chatbot will then provide you with a link to download the alternative firmware updater.

Unzip the File: Extract the downloaded file.

Turn and Connect Spark MINI: Turn on and connect your Spark MINI to a computer using a USB cable (we recommend using the one that comes in the box with the Spark amp).

Enter Firmware Update Mode: Press and hold the Pair and Power buttons on the back panel of the Spark MINI together until all preset LEDs start to blink.

Run the Updater, you can do either of the following:

Double-click on
Run_Updater_With_Log.bat
to start the updater. -
Right-click on
Run_Updater_With_Log.bat
and select "Run as administrator" to start the updater.

Wait for Reboot: Wait until Spark MINI reboots automatically. The LED lights will return to normal.

Check the Update: Disconnect Spark 40, turn it on, and reconnect it to the Spark app via Bluetooth. In the Spark app, tap the product card, scroll to the bottom, and check the firmware version.

Report Issues: If the update is unsuccessful, send us the
log.txt
file from the updater’s folder.
