How to Reset PRAM or NVRAM
If you encounter any of these problems after a firmware update, follow the steps below to get an alternative updater:

- Update Failure: The update didn't finish successfully.
- Device Problem: The Spark is unresponsive or 'bricked.'
- LED Issue: The LED lights on the Spark are blinking.
1. Download: Download the alternative firmware updater from the links below:
macOS / Windows
2. Unzip the File: Extract the downloaded file.
3. Connect Spark GO: Turn on your Spark GO and connect it to your computer with the provided USB cable.
4. Run the Updater: Launch the alternative firmware updater.
For macOS users:
Unzip the updater file, then right-click and select 'Open' to launch it.
For Windows users:

Double-click on
Spark GO Firmware Updater with Logs.exe

Right-click on
Spark GO Firmware Updater with Logs.exe
and select "Run as administrator" to start the updater.

5. Wait until the terminal window appears and then disappears. Spark GO will power off automatically.
6. Disconnect Spark GO from the computer, power it on, and then connect it to the Spark app via Bluetooth to check if the update was successful. Tap on the product card, scroll down to the bottom, and check the firmware version.
7. Report issues:
For macOS users:
If the update is unsuccessful, export the text from the Terminal window by clicking on the menu: Shell -> Export Text As… and send the exported file to us.
For Windows users:
If the update is unsuccessful, send us the log.txt
file from the updater’s folder.
