“No Internet” or “The Site Can’t Be Reached” Errors

If you're seeing a "The site can't be reached" or "No Internet" message in the login window, follow the instructions below to resolve the issue.

BIAS X requires an internet connection for initial license activation. Offline activation is not supported. For more information, please refer to License Activation & Management .

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Ensure your computer is connected to the internet. Open a web browser and try visiting a website (e.g., google.com ) to confirm connectivity.

  2. If you're connected via Wi-Fi, try switching to a wired Ethernet connection for a more stable connection during the activation process.

  3. Disable VPNs or firewalls temporarily, as they may block BIAS X from accessing the license server.

  4. Check whether your ISP router has a built-in security or threat-protection feature turned on (for example, Xfinity's xFi Advanced Security, ASUS AiProtection, or a Bitdefender Box). These features can flag Positive Grid's servers as suspicious and block the SSL/TLS handshake, which prevents license activation and can also make help.positivegrid.com unreachable while other websites still work. To confirm, connect your computer to a mobile hotspot and try again - if activation succeeds on the hotspot, either turn off the router's security feature or add *.positivegrid.com to its trusted list.

  5. Relaunch BIAS X and attempt login again once your connection is verified to be working.

If you're using a corporate network, contact your IT administrator to ensure BIAS X has internet access for activation.
