Tone Control (Spark app)

Edit tones with the Spark app

Go to Tone Control guide →

Connect to the Mobile Device (Bluetooth Audio)

  1. Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device:
    iOS: Settings → Bluetooth
Android: Settings → Connections → Bluetooth
  2. Press the PAIR button on the rear panel while Spark PEDAL is powered on.

The Wireless Indicator will begin breathing blue, indicating pairing mode.
  3. In the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device, look for Spark PEDAL in the list of available devices.
  4. Tap on Spark Pedal Audio to pair and connect.
  5. Once connected, the Wireless Indicator turns solid blue. You can now stream music from any app on your phone.
Spark PEDAL will automatically pair with the last device it connected to. If the last device is not available, Spark PEDAL will connect to a previously paired device.

Good to Know

Volume control

Bluetooth audio volume can only be adjusted from the source device (phone/tablet). There is no dedicated Bluetooth volume knob on Spark PEDAL.

Output routing

Bluetooth audio is streamed through Spark PEDAL's L/MONO & R outputs and the headphone output simultaneously - not through an internal speaker, since Spark PEDAL is a pedal, not an amp.

Both connections at once

You can use Spark PEDAL as a Bluetooth speaker while playing guitar - Spark PEDAL mixes the Bluetooth audio and your guitar signal together, so you can jam over music from any app while editing tones with the Spark app.

Troubleshooting

Spark Pedal Audio doesn't appear in my Bluetooth list

  • Make sure Spark PEDAL is powered on and the Wireless Indicator is breathing blue - if it's not, press the PAIR button on the rear panel again.
  • Try a factory reset on Spark PEDAL and re-pair.

Paired successfully but no music plays

  • Increase the volume on your source device (phone, tablet, or computer) - Spark PEDAL has no dedicated Bluetooth volume knob.
  • Confirm audio is routed correctly - Bluetooth audio streams through the L/MONO & R outputs and headphone output simultaneously.
  • If you're using a connected amp or PA, make sure its volume is turned up and the correct input is selected.

Bluetooth keeps disconnecting

  • Stay within Bluetooth range (~10 m / 30 ft) of your source device.
  • Move away from Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, and other 2.4 GHz devices that can cause interference.
  • Forget the device on your phone, then re-pair.
