How to Fix Spark MINI USB Audio Input Issue on macOS 26 – Help Center

Why this happened

macOS 26 introduced updates to how the system handles USB audio devices. As a result, some Spark MINI units may experience unreliable audio input when connected to a Mac running macOS 26. The latest firmware update improves compatibility with macOS 26 and ensures stable USB audio recording performance.

How to Update Spark MINI Firmware on a Mac Running macOS 26

Download the Spark MINI firmware updater: Download Here
Unzip the file: spark_mini_firmware_updater_mac_v1_11_2_75_ble_1_91.zip
Right-click the updater app and select Open.

Follow the instructions shown in the updater to complete the firmware update for Spark MINI.

Do not disconnect Spark MINI or close the updater while the update is in progress.
Wait until the firmware update finishes. The amp will turn off automatically when the update is complete.

If you see “updater quit unexpectedly,” keep the firmware updater open. It should finish the update process shortly afterward.

If Spark MINI Is Stuck in Update Mode

If all four preset LEDs are blinking red, the amp may be stuck in update mode.

Press and hold the Power button on the back of the amp.
Wait until the unit turns off completely.
Turn it back on, then run the updater and follow the on-screen instructions again.
