How to Fix Spark GO USB Audio Input Issue on macOS 26

Why this happened
macOS 26 introduced updates to how the system handles USB audio devices. As a result, some Spark GO units may experience unreliable audio input when connected to a Mac running macOS 26. The latest firmware update improves compatibility with macOS 26 and ensures stable USB audio recording performance.

How to Update Spark GO Firmware on a Mac Running macOS 26

  1. Download the Spark GO firmware updater: Download Here 

  2. Unzip the file: spark_go_firmware_updater_mac_v1_15_0_209_bt_1_96.zip

  3. Right-click the updater app and select Open.

  4. Follow the instructions shown in the updater to complete the firmware update for Spark GO.

    Do not disconnect Spark GO or close the updater while the update is in progress.
  5. Wait until the firmware update finishes. The amp will turn off automatically when the update is complete.

    If you see “updater quit unexpectedly,” keep the firmware updater open. It should finish the update process shortly afterward.
