Top Panel

Spark PEDAL top panel

A - FX / AMP CONTROLS

  • FX Mode: Select your effect and adjust its level or mix.
  • AMP Mode: Adjust the amp's tone settings (Gain, EQ, etc.).

B - MAIN KNOB / MODE SELECTOR

  • Press to switch between FX Mode and AMP Mode.
  • Turn to adjust overall volume in FX Mode or amp type in AMP Mode.
  • Double tap in AMP Mode to turn the Cab Simulator (Cab Sim) on/off. The LED indicates the current state - red when Cab Sim is on, peach when off.
  • Press and hold to activate the Tuner.
  • The LED ring shows what you're adjusting based on what's active.

C - POWER INDICATOR

Shows battery and power status:

  • Green (solid) - On or fully charged
  • Yellow (solid) - Low battery
  • Red (solid) - Needs charging
  • Flashing colors - Charging

D - WIRELESS INDICATOR

Shows Bluetooth® status:

  • Blue (solid) - Connected
  • Blue (flashing) - Pairing

E - MODE INDICATOR LED

Lights up to show whether you're in FX or AMP mode.

F - FOOT SWITCH LEDS

  • Left side - Shows preset status
  • Right side - Shows looper status

G - FOOT SWITCHES

Press switches 1 + 2 together to switch between Preset and Looper control.

Preset Mode

  • Tap any switch to load a preset.
  • Press and hold to save a preset.
  • Tap 2 + 3 together to toggle between red and green banks (3 presets each).

Looper Mode

  • Switch 1: Record / Dub. Tap to start recording or overdubbing. Tap again to stop recording and start playback.
  • Switch 2: Play / Stop. Starts/stops the loop playback. Hold to switch between Auto Mode and Signal Detection Mode for standalone recording:
    • Signal Detection Mode (Click Off) - Free length. Spark PEDAL automatically starts recording when it detects a guitar signal; tap the record button to stop. The Switch 1 LED (right side) turns yellow when in this mode. This is the default recording mode.
    • Auto Mode (Click On) - Adjustable loop length. Recording starts automatically after a 1-bar count-in and stops when reaching the length set in the Time Settings menu in the Spark app.
  • Switch 3: Undo / Redo. Removes/restores the last layer added to the loop. Hold to completely erase the recorded loop.

H - POWER

Hold to turn on/off.

I - PAIR

Tap to pair via Bluetooth.

J - INSTRUMENT INPUT (¼")

Connect an electric guitar, acoustic guitar, or bass.

K - LINE OUTPUT (¼")

L/Mono and R outputs to connect to speakers, audio interfaces, etc.

L - EXPRESSION PEDAL INPUT (¼")

Connect an expression pedal to control wah or volume.

Compatible with TRS-type expression pedals. Configuration can be adjusted in the Spark app.

M - USB-C® PORT

Use the included USB-C® to USB-C® cable to charge or connect it to a PC/Mac for use as an audio interface.

N - MIDI PORTS (⅛")

  • Input: Connect a wired MIDI controller to switch presets, control effects or amps, and access other features.
  • Output: Connect to other MIDI devices for synchronization.

O - HEADPHONE OUTPUT (⅛")

Plug in a pair of headphones with a ⅛" stereo jack.
