Bluetooth connection is unstable or laggy
Optimize Bluetooth performance:
Factor Recommendation
Distance Stay close to REACTOR
Obstacles Minimize walls/objects between devices
Interference Turn off unused Bluetooth devices nearby
Phone case Metal cases can reduce signal strength
For audio streaming lag:
  • Bluetooth audio has inherent latency
  • This is normal for backing tracks
  • For recording, use USB connection instead (zero latency)
For app control lag:
  • If you experience lag, restart the app and reconnect

REACTOR Audio doesn't appear in my phone's Bluetooth settings

The REACTOR App connects and controls your amp normally, but when you open your phone's Bluetooth settings to stream music, REACTOR Audio is missing from the available devices list.

Reset and re-pair:
  1. Perform a factory reset on your REACTOR amp
  2. Tap the Bluetooth Pair button on the rear panel to enter pairing mode
  3. On your phone: Settings → Bluetooth → look for REACTOR Audio and tap to pair

The REACTOR App disconnects as soon as I move my phone slightly away from the amp

Some users have reported that after the REACTOR App connects to the amp via Bluetooth, the connection drops the moment the phone or tablet is moved even a short distance away from the amp — well within the normal wireless range.

This is a known issue we are actively investigating. Standard Bluetooth troubleshooting steps (forget / re-pair, restarting devices, clearing interference) do not resolve it.

Please contact Positive Grid Support directly so we can log your case and assist with next steps.
