How to Use Auto Chord

  1. Go to the Music section in the Spark app and scroll down to find a song you'd like to play.

  2. Tap the song — Auto Chord will automatically detect and display its chords.

  3. Alternatively, browse your saved songs or imported playlists (from Apple Music) and pick a song to analyze.

Common Questions

Why does Spark app use YouTube for its search engine?

The Spark app uses YouTube as its song source because of copyright restrictions on music streaming.

Can I use Auto Chord on songs I've imported to my phone (not on YouTube)?

No. If the song is not available on YouTube, the Spark app cannot find it and cannot detect its chords.

Can I transpose songs with Auto Chord?

Auto Chord does not support transposing songs. However, you can transpose Smart Jam / Quick Jam tracks in the Smart Jam settings.
