Bluetooth Connection Troubleshooting for Spark 2

Before you start

Please ensure the Spark app and the firmware on the Spark 2 have been updated to the latest version.
For more information, please check:

First-Time Connection

To connect to the Spark app and Spark 2 Audio, please ensure you follow the instructions provided in the article here: Pairing the Spark 2 with a Mobile Device via Bluetooth.

If you encounter issues connecting to Spark 2 Audio, try the following steps:

  1. Ensure you press the 'PAIR' button on the rear of the control panel during the connection process. Spark 2 Audio will only appear as a Bluetooth device in your system menu after this step.
Only the Bluetooth LED starts to breathe.

If both the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi LEDs are breathing together, it means you held the pair button too long, and the Spark 2 is now in pairing mode with Spark Control X. In this case, Spark 2 Audio will not appear on the Bluetooth list.

  2. If "Spark 2 Audio" doesn't appear on the Bluetooth list, please attempt a factory reset for Spark 2.

  3. Update the firmware on your Spark 2 if the Spark app is connectable. For instructions on how to update the firmware, please refer to the following link: Spark 2 Firmware Update.

If the issue still persists, please do not hesitate to contact support for further assistance.
