Spark PEDAL updates its firmware wirelessly through the Spark app. When a firmware update is available, the Spark app will notify you.
Before You Begin
- Update the Spark app to the latest version.
- Back up your customized presets. See Backup & Restore Tone Presets.
- Make sure Spark PEDAL has enough battery, or connect the USB-C power cable during the update.
- Have a Wi-Fi access point with internet connection nearby.

OTA (Over-the-Air) Update
- Launch the Spark app and connect to Spark PEDAL.
- If a firmware update is available, the Spark app will prompt you to update.
- You will be prompted to connect to Wi-Fi to proceed.
- Once connected to Wi-Fi, the firmware update should start automatically. Ensure that the app remains open and active, and that Spark PEDAL stays powered on.
- After the update is complete, you will receive an on-screen notification, and Spark PEDAL will automatically turn off.
- You can check the firmware version of the Spark PEDAL by clicking on the product card when it's connected to the Spark app.
