Download

1. Log in to the My Products / Desktop Software page using the email address you used to place your order.

   

   If you don’t already have an account, click Sign Up and create one using the same email address as your purchase.
   
   If you purchased from a dealer or distributor, redeem your code after logging in (instructions).
   Once redeemed, your product will appear on the My Products / Desktop Software page.

2. Find BIAS X in the list of Desktop Software and click Download.

   

3. Select your operating system and click Download.

   

4. The installer will begin downloading. Once complete, follow the installation guide to set up BIAS X on your computer.

Install (Windows)

1. Double-click the EXE file to launch the installer.
   If it doesn’t open, right-click the file and select Run as Administrator.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions in the installer.

3. Choose the components you want to install (App / VST3 / AAX). We recommend the default settings unless you have specific needs.

   App – Standalone version, no DAW required.
   VST3 – Modern, efficient plugin format. Supported by most major DAWs.
   AAX – For Pro Tools only.

   

4. Continue following the prompts to complete installation.

Install (macOS)

1. Double-click the DMG file, then open BIAS_X_App.pkg.
   If the DMG won’t open, see: How to Bypass macOS Security Warnings.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions in the installer.

3. Choose the components you want to install (App / AU / VST3 / AAX).

   App – Standalone version, no DAW required.
   AU – macOS only. Works in GarageBand, Logic Pro, and other AU-compatible DAWs.
   VST3 – Modern, efficient plugin format. Supported by most major DAWs.
   AAX – For Pro Tools only.

   

4. Continue following the prompts to complete installation.
