Can’t Connect Spark Amp via Bluetooth

This guide will help you troubleshoot common Bluetooth connection issues with the Spark amp and provide solutions to resolve them.

Before you start, make sure both the Spark app and amp firmware are up-to-date.
Also, minimize interference by keeping other Bluetooth devices away from your setup.

Preparation

 

    1. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device.

    2. Close all background apps.

    3. Turn off Bluetooth on nearby devices (e.g., speakers, Apple Watch).

Reset Bluetooth Connection

    1. Reset your Spark amp's Bluetooth (Spark 40, Spark MINI, Spark GO).

    2. Remove the Spark amp from recognized devices in the Bluetooth settings.

      iOS:

      1. Navigate to Settings → Bluetooth.
      2. Tap "Forget This Device" to unpair and disconnect the Spark amp.

      Android:

      1. Navigate to Settings → Bluetooth.
      2. Tap "Unpair" to disconnect the Spark amp.

Reconnect to Your Spark Amp

    1. Launch the Spark app and go to the Menu tab.

    2. Tap on the '+' at the top-right corner, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Spark amp.

    3. Once connected, the green icons on the device card will indicate that the Spark amp is successfully connected.

When your Spark amp is paired via Bluetooth, the indicator will remain a steady blue. If it enters pairing mode, the indicator will flash to signal its availability for connection.
