Connection Troubleshooting — Device Not Detected
If the firmware updater cannot detect your device, try these steps before retrying:

Switch USB port and cable
Try a different USB port or cable. A faulty cable or port is one of the most common causes of detection failure. -
Unplug all other USB devices
Disconnect other USB devices from your computer. This eliminates potential conflicts that may prevent the firmware updater from detecting your Spark. -
Avoid using a USB hub
Connect the Spark directly to your computer's USB port rather than through a USB hub. A direct connection ensures a more stable and reliable signal. -
Switch to another computer
