Bluetooth connection is unstable or laggy
Optimize Bluetooth performance:
| Factor | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Distance | Stay close to REACTOR |
| Obstacles | Minimize walls/objects between devices |
| Interference | Turn off unused Bluetooth devices nearby |
| Phone case | Metal cases can reduce signal strength |
For audio streaming lag:
- Bluetooth audio has inherent latency
- This is normal for backing tracks
- For recording, use USB connection instead (zero latency)
For app control lag:
- If you experience lag, restart the app and reconnect

REACTOR Control — Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting guide for REACTOR Control connection and pairing issues.
Click any issue to expand the solution.
Wireless Pairing Issues
REACTOR Control won't pair wirelessly
Try these steps:
- Power on your REACTOR amp first
- Power on REACTOR Control — it should connect automatically
- If not, check that Bluetooth is enabled on your REACTOR (Settings → Bluetooth → On)
- Make sure REACTOR Control is within range (up to 17m / 55ft line-of-sight)
- Check for wireless interference (other Bluetooth devices, WiFi routers)
Still not working?
- Try a Factory Reset on REACTOR Control
REACTOR Control fails to pair after factory reset
After factory reset:
- Power off both REACTOR amp and REACTOR Control
- Power on REACTOR amp first, wait for it to fully boot
- Power on REACTOR Control
- REACTOR Control should automatically discover and pair with REACTOR
If pairing still fails:
- Try wired connection first to confirm hardware is working
- Contact support if issue persists
Wired Connection Issues
Wired connection not working
Check these:
- Use the included 1/4" TRS cable (3 meters)
- Connect to the REACTOR CONTROL jack on the REACTOR amp rear panel
- Make sure the cable is fully inserted at both ends
- Try a different TRS cable if available
Note: When connected via cable, REACTOR Control will prioritize the wired connection for the lowest latency.
Connection Stability
REACTOR Control keeps disconnecting
For wireless connection:
- Charge REACTOR Control fully (check LED indicator)
- Move closer to REACTOR amp — stay within 17m / 55ft
- Reduce wireless interference (move away from WiFi routers, other Bluetooth devices)
For wired connection:
- Check cable connections at both ends
- Try a different TRS cable
- Inspect cable for damage
If disconnections persist:
- Factory reset REACTOR Control and re-pair
REACTOR Control Not Responding
REACTOR Control is unresponsive
Quick checks:
- Check battery level — charge if low (LED shows red when low)
- Try pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds
- Connect via USB-C to charge (you can use it while charging)
If still unresponsive:
- Perform a Factory Reset
- If factory reset doesn't work, contact support
Footswitches not triggering
Check these:
- Confirm REACTOR Control is connected (check connection LED)
- Make sure you're in the correct mode (Preset Mode or Effect Mode)
- Check if the function is assigned in the REACTOR App
Try:
- Power cycle REACTOR Control
- Re-pair with REACTOR amp
